Fonts corrupted in workspace.

In Progress Leah Mann 5 years ago

The font "Montserrat" was working fine until I got a paid subscription. Now, it's horribly corrupted on my workstation and the second workstation I purchased. Screenshot attached.

All fonts are correctly installed on my computer.

Very sorry about that! We can try installing the font within Justinmind and see if that fixes things.

If you're using a Mac: Right-click on the JIM application, click 'Show package contents'. Navigate to Resources -> Java -> Fonts, look for the Montserrat font and install it.

If you're using Windows, follow this path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Justinmind\Justinmind prototyper 8.7\fonts, look for the Montserrat font and install it.

If the font isn't listed in those folders, go into the Justinmind app, look to the font dropdown, and add the Montserrat font through Google Fonts.

I've got the entire font family installed there, but it hasn't helped.

When I type in a box, the preview of the text I'm typing isn't corrupted. But when I deselect the object and it returns to it's intended formatting, it displays incorrectly again.

Changing the font to Arial displays correctly, but I need it to be Montserrat, so that isn't a viable solution.

Thanks for the info. Does this also occur on other prototypes, or is it just one in particular?

Just this one. I haven't tested with other fonts in case it causes more errors.

If possible, can you attach the .vp file here so we can check it out? You can compress it into .zip/.rar format to attach it here.

Would it be possible to email it privately? I'm not comfortable attaching my document publicly.

Sure - I've just emailed you, and you can attach it there.
