Store view preferences (Show Events,Hidden,Comments,...)
The preferences wether "Fade template components", "Show event marker", "Show hidden components" or "Hide comments" is checked should be stored on close and restored on re-open of the application. Currently all settings fall back to default after close/re-open.
Can you please tell us where you get those properties?

It's no longer called "Fade Template Components," but "Brighten Template Components", and appears as the first of five icons in a floating toolbar in the bottom-right corner of the canvas:

I would like these settings to be saved across sessions, too.

These controls are now in the View Menu, and the name has flopped back to "Fade template components"
Also, they still are not saved across sessions as of 6.5.1 :-(
