Embedfont error

In Progress Lotte 5 years ago

I have a problem with the fonts used in my prototype and trying to embed this font. In my prototype I have used the font Signika Semibold and Signika bold. When I try to export my prototype to HTML I have to embed the font.

But when I try to add the font file to the prototype I get the following warning (see attachment) eventhough I have selected the correct font file on my laptop and the font is also a Google font in my library in JIM. How can I solve this problem? Because I really would like to use the font Signika.

P.S. Apologies for my bad English, it is not my first language

Hi there,

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to reproduce this issue. Can you confirm if the font is already installed directly on your computer?

Best,

Hi Sonia,

Yes the font is already directly installed om my personal computer. But I've made a prototype for an iPad, which means that I would like to show the prototype on an iPad (on which the font is not installed) (I also would like to share the prototype with other people, who may have not installed the font). Is it possible to show the same font on the iPad as I have used in the prototype on my own computer?

I´m having the same issue.

The embed font system is not working.

Some font I use give an eror while trying to embed.

Also, there is no way to replace all the fonts at once.

Finally, even changin manually each font of each text, JIM continues give me a messagem there are missing fonts.

There may be a slight difference between the fonts that is causing the issue. The font files must be exactly the same, and stored the same way in folders. We are working to find a way to make embedding fonts easier.

Also, you can replace all fonts at once by going to Edit -> Replace styles.

I am facing a similar issue. I am trying to use the google font - Oswald. Firstly, if you give me an option of adding it to my project, I was expecting that it can directly be embedded. However, since that was not the case, I downloaded the font file from official google font database, but got the same error (font file does not contain the font).

Hello, sorry for the inconvenience, could you tell us what version you are using and would it be possible for you to send us the .ttf file that you are trying to include?

Thanks.

Interested specifically in the font: DrukTextWideCyTTHeavy. But I noticed a problem with google fonts, for example, with ArchivoBlack-Regular. Fonts could not be attached to the message. Link to the cloud: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/18iX2SbylgfhrlqHQarh6ne5kuP1uXIfB?usp=share_link

You wrote that there is no such problem in Mac OS, but there is a problem. Everything is exactly the same as in Windows.

Hello, we are not able to reproduce the error, in our system this error does not happen for Mac, could you give us more information about your system?

What version are you using, what language/country keyboard does your system have? We will investigate with this information and let you know.

Thanks.

Please try using the font "DrukTextWideCyTTHeavy.ttf" . There are no problems with the font "ArchivoBlack-Regular.ttf" in Mac OS, but there are problems with the font "DrukTextWideCyTTHeavy.ttf" in macOS and Windows.

Hello, could you try to make a new prototype with the font "Druk Text Wide Cy TT Heavy" and embed it on Mac?

Let us know if it works for you.

Thanks.

Why can't the program load fonts from the system itself? If we consider "Windows OS", then in the folder "C:\Windows\Fonts " there is a font that we need.
