Asking configure proxy when its already configured

Known Simas 3 years ago

When program is opened there is a "sign in" button at the top right corner, when i click on, its shows network error and asks to configure proxy:

/7608983f7297ea8621e706f234960f27

Then i click on configure proxy and type in proxy settings like this:

/6ddaea80f7b13f5688c52b8edd9003bf

Then apply -> OK, and when i click again on sign in button, its shows me the same network error. I am pretty sure my proxy settings are good, because its configured in other apps, like Zoiper5 and is working. Actually in zoiper its configured in configure file, like this:

Could you please send us the log files?

You can find them by following this file path:

On Mac: [folder of the user]/justinmind/version/logs.log

On PC: (C://users/youruser/Justinmind[version]/logs.log)

There may also be a file called logs.log.1 in that folder. If it's also listed, please attach it as well.

Logs attached. As I see in the logs file, the program tried to access http://www.justinmind.com/54.192.229.3, http://www.justinmind.com/54.192.229.32, http://www.justinmind.com/54.192.229.88, http://www.justinmind.com/54.192.229.44

I tried to open these pages and got same result:

Your proxy is blocking the connection. Try with the http configuration instead of SOCKS. If that doesn't work, you'll need to contact your network administrator.

Tried both socks and http/https - same result. What exceptions are needed to add to proxy settings?

Then is a thing with your proxy. You'll need to contact whoever is in charge of that proxy and ask him why is it blocking the connections from your Justinmind.

Can you tell me what exceptions need to be done? What address/server this program is trying to access? Because justinmind.com is not blocked, i can open it.

Again, your computer is accessing internet through another computer called 'proxy'. That computer is managed by some person and it's that person who decides what applications can connect out of your network. Justinmind can open even if that proxy is not allowing any connections but when it tries to do the 'sign in', that 'proxy' computer is blocking it. You'll need to ask your network administrator to let Justinmind pass the proxy or ask him for the user and password of the proxy.

Yes, I know how proxy works. And what i am asking is, when i click sign in, what server the program is trying to access? I need this server name or IP, so proxy admins could do exceptions in that proxy sever. Or you dont know what server Justinmind app is trying to access. Maybe it is better to turn on proxy tracking and find out.

We tried to turn on tracing on proxy sever and nothing was blocked. As you can see, proxy is not blocking justinmind.

From the screenshot it looks like it is somehow blocking it. There are no 'green' arrows for justinmind.com

When its blocking something, then its red X near address. Now there is no red X

would you mind uninstalling the application and download the final release from here https://www.justinmind.com/download ? We've changed some compatibility things for some special proxies and that might work for you as well.
