Fixed Simulation HEIGHT

Known Leslie Cahill 4 years ago

Is there a way to fix the HEIGHT of a simulation. I'm able to fix the width. But, I'm working with a custom container that has a very specific height by default. When I run the prototype, the height expands the height of the browser. I attached an example.

Unfortunately not exactly. You can try resizing the simulation window to the desired height, and then the simulation should load at those dimensions.

You could also try grouping the container, and then it should stay a fixed height.

The container is just an image. Do you mean placing the single image within a group? Or, place everything on the page within the same group? Which group option: Group, Group in Dynamic Panel, Group in Master? Thank you!

Actually, can you explain a little more about the issue? I'm not quite sure I understand. Is the issue that you'd like the Image/container to be be placed on a specific part of the screen?

Sure! In the attached image, the white background is extending the entire height of the browser window. However, the widget I've designed is only 480 x 750 (custom size). I was expecting the height of the widget during simulation to stop at 750. Resizing the browser window is an OK work-around. But, it would be nice if I could send the link to people to check out the prototype w/o having to ask them to resize their browser window.

Is that widget the only thing on the screen? If so, you could try a workaround of making the background color of the screen the same as the simulation window (EFEFEF), and then Pin the image to the center of the Canvas.
