Connection error on app

In Progress Thais 6 years ago

Almost everytime I try to access a prototype on the app or test something on my device I get the error saying it's impossible to reach Justinmind's server. I have to keep trying and trying and trying and it's very hard to get any prototype working.

What is happening with the servers? Is there another way to access prototypes on the phone?

Hi there,

Try signing out of the app and then go to your settings. Make sure that 'Connect to your own Justinmind Server' is empty. If that doesn't work, we suggest reinstalling the mobile application.

Best,

Danielle

Hi Danielle,

I'm having the same problem, and I already tried signing-out and reinstalling it. Nothing works.

Please help!

We think there might be a general server error at the moment because we're getting other reports of similar issues. We're looking into this right now, and I'll update you ASAP.

Ok, everything should be resolved now. Can you try viewing the prototype again?

Hello Danielle Schneider,

I'm also having a "Connection error" issue when signing in. I have not configured any proxy settings or authentication in the past and it worked fine.

I looked at the logs and this is the error:

Error connecting to Usernote while checking internet connection.

Can you try again? Maybe there was some problem with your internet connection

@Danielle Schneider - I don't think I have problems with my connection. what else could be the cause?

Hey David. We've noticed in the logs that you're connecting to http instead of https. Did you change that parameter somewhere?

Nope, but could I change it back to Https?? how?

Sign out from the app (Help - Sign out). Then, in the Sign in dialog, click on Settings.

If it was working in the past and the settings are correct as per the screenshot, that might mean that some administrator of your company's network has either added a proxy or is blocking the connections of Justinmind somehow. You should check with them.
