Error: An Obj-C exception occurred.

Solved Nacho 5 years ago

Hi. I'm getting an error with the sketch plugin. When i try to export a file from sketch, it's getting "Error: An Obj-C exception occurred.". I tried every export option and different files.

What version of Sketch are you using?

Hi, I just installed Justinmind + the Sketch plugin and I'm getting exactly the same error message when trying to export a Sketch file. Currently I'm using Sketch version 54.1 and Justinmind for macOS (Mojave 10.14.3) ver 8.7.0. Any help or recommendation?

Does the error occur for any Sketch file you export, or is it just one file in particular?

Every Sketch file. I tried three different files, two larger files using symbols from external libraries and then I tried one sample file just with one artboard and few colored rectangles just to check and I'm getting the same error every time.

Can you see what version of the Justinmind Sketch plugin you're using? You can check this by opening Sketch and going to Plugins > Manage Plugins.

It's version 1.0.0., is there anything newer available? I downloaded it from the page https://www.justinmind.com/integrations and I'm not getting any update notification in Sketch.

Looks like we need to update that link. There's a newer version of the plugin available here.

Great, thanks. The newer version works good, no problems exporting artboards from Sketch so far. :)
