Possibility to show overview of user choices and track which screens were visited

Answered Jtolios 5 years ago

Hi Justiniminders,

I have two questions for you. I recently started using Justinmind, so forgive me if the answers to these questions are straightforward.

I am currently building a prototype, which is going to be evaluated by a group of users. The idea is that the group of users will access the prototype simultaneously. There will be some panels in the prototype, which will initially be empty. As long as the users make some choices in the prototype via drop-down selections, forms, etc., these panels will be updated dynamically and be showing an overview of their selections. In the figure below, you can see how I would like these panels to look like. For instance, the user selected some options on screen 3 and the panel shows the summary for the user’s options.

Moreover, is it possible to check at the end of the evaluation, which screens each user visited during the evaluation and in which order. For instance, user 1 visited screens 1,2,5 and 8, user 2 visited screens 1,3,6 etc...?

Could the above be implemented in Justinmind? If yes, what is the recommended way to design such a prototype?

Thanks in advance!

While you will be able to track which screens are visited and show that data during simulation, you won't be able to compare what different users during different simulation sessions. You might want to consider using user testing services, which you can integrate into Justinmind. You can learn how to do that here: https://www.justinmind.com/support/justinminds-integration-with-user-testing-tools/

Thank you for the answer! I integrated Google Analytics in my prototype. However, I came across this issue. Is there a way to tackle this issue?

It seems that Google Analytics does not analyze by default the fragment of a URL after the hash. A solution to this issue can be found here.
