How do I create an unordered or bulleted list?

Answered Victor Conesa 12 years ago

I just want to create an HTML . I don't see a widget, a rich text bulleted list option, and putting an HTML block in doesn't seem to pick up the list. Any ideas?

Till we develop the bullets you can copy and paste a text with bullets from MS Word to Justinmind. The bullets will be then in Justinmind too. Just select the text with bullets in MS Word, then select 'Copy' and then select Edit - Paste in Prototyper.

A better way to have bullets in the rich text widget is this:

Write a · where you want your bullet. Then select this character and set the font of this character to Symbol. You'll have a bullet. This bullet work as any text inside the rich text (you can select a color, a size, etc.) and works in the HTML.

There is even another way just in case you suspect your client won't have the Symbol font installed. You can hold the alt key and write with the number pad 0149. Then the bullet will appear. You can do the same with other special characters http://www.fontco.com/font-facts/asci.... For Mac users is even easier. Select the Character Pallete and choose the punctuation section. Then choose a bullet while you are writing inside the rich text.

The next update will include an option to define a rich text as 'bulleted'

The bullet list doesn't properly align the text.

  • this is a bullet and on the second line the text starts at the same alignment of the first, is is a bullet and on the second line the text starts at the same alignment of the first

This doesn't happen in justinmind the second line of text starts at the same alignment as the bullet.

Can you explain more about this issue? If possible, can you attach a file in which this occurs?

Hi Danielle, see attached, the text wraps at the wrong alignment.

Thanks for including the image. I can see the issue. I have sent this to our development team and we'll work on fixing this.
