"Two finger tap to view controls" only works on first screen

While I get the reminder each time I look at prototype on device, the two fingers won't be registered unless I'm on the first screen—even then, it doesn't consistently work. Would really be nice if it did work. Any suggestions?
We're aware of this and are working to improve the two finger control detection. Unfortunately I don't have any workarounds or suggestions for now, but I'll let you know when we've updated the app.
