Textboxes ignoring cell padding in a table

Known Sharovipteryx 7 years ago

I've created a table with textboxes in all the cells. I gave the table cell a 10px padding all around but when viewed in a browser through the simulate button the textbox inside seems to ignore padding on the right side. It also ignores the content alignment of the cell, for example if it's specifically set to align to the center but the text in the textbox is left justified the text justification wins out over the cell's alignment. As well the text gets clipped on the right side somewhat when viewed in the browser. It seems to reflow because some words end up on different lines. This isn't the case when viewed directly in the prototype.

My workaround is to create a border for all the cells of 10px but this is more of a bandaid solution as in some cases you can't use a border if the background isn't a solid color. Is there something that I'm doing wrong or is this a bug?
