Problems with triggering by on pinch (open) gesture

Answered Svenja Wiehen 5 years ago

I'm a beginner and trying to build a prototype in which I want to resize an element (ellipse) out of the "on pinch open" event. It works perfectly fine in simulation while using the mouse with “two fingers (pinch)” selected but when I try to interact via touchscreen (reopening via web browser) and try the real gesture with my fingers I only zoom within the whole screen instead of triggering the event. Is there a way to fix the main screen so only the gesture to trigger the event will be recognized or am I missing something else? Best regards Svenja

To clarify - were you simulating the prototype on a computer with a touch screen, or were you using the Justinmind mobile app to test the prototype on your phone's touchscreen?

I tried both, neither worked.

What kind of phone were you using to test the prototype? We know of some issues with gestures on Android that we're fixing soon, but gestures on iPhone should work correctly.

I tried on my iPhone 6s and also on a Dell Laptop with touch display

Can you attach the prototype you were testing on your phone? You can compress it to .zip/.rar format to attach it here.

Very same problem with a brand new Oppo Reno 2 / Android

It should be working - we released an update for the mobile app a few months ago - so this is very odd. If possible, can you attach the prototype here so we can check it out? You can compress it to .zip/.rar format to attach it here.

Here you go. The pinch gesture is place on the central image and should allow to switch panel.

It looks like it wasn't attached. Did you compress the file to .zip/.rar format? You can also upload the file to a file sharing service like Dropbox and paste the link to it here.

It has not been attached. Can you upload the file to Dropbox or another file sharing service and paste the link to it here?

We've released an update today that should fix this issue. Go to Help > Check for Updates to download it.
