Loading variables from a data master based on login name

Ok, this time im trying to populate variables that would be used to pre fill sections of froms after a user has logged in. So say john doe has entered his user id and password successfully. So any form he chooses a portion would would pre populate with his information. And the same would hold true for any valid login of other users

I cant seem to work out how to read the data master and load the variables for the logged in user. Is it possible to load variables in this way?
