Coming from Photoshop I'm looking for a way to group layers together. For instance a dynamic panel would have a series of on and off buttons and would be useful to organize them into one group.)

You can do so by using a multi select for all the layers in the outline panel, then right click to select group.

Thx. The sad thing is that I found how to make groups. I must have made other mistakes that ruined things and I attributed it to the groups.
