Green flashing of controls in exported HTML or shared prototype view

vs1969 shared this problem 1 year ago
In Progress

After trying to view the shared version of the prototype or its HTML representation obtained via export I noticed that, when you click on some areas of the canvas, some of the controls (at least buttons and data lists) temporarily flash green (actually, the color of justinmind logo). This is present in both Chrome and Firefox, albeit a bit differently: in Chrome, this flashing only appears when you click on the free space of the canvas, whereas Firefox flashes also when you click on the control itself (e.g. when selecting a row in a data list). I am using the evaluation version, could it be the difference from the licensed version? If not, what could be the reason for this? The screenshot is attached.

Dear vs1969,

That's odd. That should only happen when an element has no events. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to reproduce this issue, if possible, can you send us the prototype (vp.file) you're using so we can take a look? You can attach it in a .rar format, or upload it to a file sharing service such as Dropbox, and attach the link to it here.

Best,

Dear Ms.Duran,

Thanks for the answer!

Can I send it privately? As I am not allowed to open it to the public.

Dear vs1969,

I've just realised that by oversight I didn't reply to your enquiry. It's probably too late but here's the response in any case. Can you create a video capture?

As an additional note: what I observed is actually just the opposite to what you say: only the elements which have attached events flash. E.g. the top two text input fields from the picture are autofilled and does not have events, whereas both the button and the rows of the data list have attached events.

Hello, I am facing same problem, were you able to find a solution for this? I am using JIM for the first time and not able to make out from where that green color is coming from?
