Dears,

After the new update- Version (Ver. 8.7.6)- and after exporting the prototype to HTML, It opens a page on chrome to install the extension which is already installed.

I tried to remove the chrome extension and install it again it shows the same error.

We released an update (8.7.7) that should fix this issue. Go to Help > Check for updates.

With this update, you won't need to use the Chrome extension anymore. Please note that you'll need to re-export any prototypes with this version for them to simulate correctly.

I have the latest version, I have been using it for years, and now — all of a sudden, while starting a new project, I discover that one of THE MOST USEFUL aspects of this prototyper (not having to fumble with your phone) has ceased working.

It appears as though one faction (JIM) doesn't believe there's a problem, and the end-user, who is complaining assiduously for months on end, that this function is not working.

Hello Chloe,

Eight months ago — I was not using Justinmind. As a matter of fact, we have not used it this year — however, we've used it for countless apps and more than seven enterprise projects.

Yesterday, after upgrading from the beta to the official release, I started prototyping as I normally do, got about three screens in — and decided that I would have a look, and none of the actions work. The blue 'dots' indicating that there is something to touch or an action that can be taken appear; however — it will not rotate from portrait to landscape and none of the 'action-events' work.

Chrome is up-to-date, I uninstalled and reinstalled the extension, I updated my iPhone 12 Pro, and I'm on the latest version of all operating systems in the 'Apple realm.'

I worked it out... I am not using Chrome anymore. Chrome was so slow that it 'appeared' that it was unresponsive. I switched to MS Edge for Mac. It started working after I edited the script a little. Edge is fast enough that everything is fairly instant.

Thanks!

Hello,

That's good to hear! If it's not too much trouble, we are interested to see what you changed in MS Edge to make it go faster. Could you attach your prototype and explain what you changed in MS Edge to make it go faster?

You can compress your .vp file to .zip/.rar and attach it here.

Thank you kindly,

-Chloe
