Dynamic filtering tabs
Hey,
Is it possible to create a dynamic tab menu to filter data sets on screen (frontend), allowing me to drill down into a particular data set?
For example; I want a tab menu to begin with 3 options:
People | Articles | Apps
Once I tap on the “People” tab, the tab menu then changes to two tabs that say:
My friends | Recommended People
How do I also make those menus stick to the top of the screen whilst scrolling
Hi there,
Do you wish to have the tabs filter data (in a data list) or just the tabs themselves?
If it's just the tabs, you can create dynamic panels that are switched to another panel to show the other tabs through an event.
You can make the menus stick to the top of the screen by using parallax elements, which you can find tutorials on here: http://www.justinmind.com/support/par...

Danielle

Hi. Yes, i wish to have the tabs filter a list onscreen (in Simulate mode).
I have attached an example below. As I select "People" it would show me all People, then the tab menu would change to show "Men | Women | Aliens | etc. I would then select one of these options which would drill the list down further.
This menu would also be scrollable/swipe-able from right to left incase there were too many options to fit at any stage within the menu.
(Apologies, i think a couple of my questions on the forum now overlap..)

Hi there,
Dynamic panels would be perfect for this situation. You can create an 'on click' event for 'People' with the outcome 'set active panel'. Inside that panel will be all 'People' (along with the other desired content), with submenus that lead to other active panels that only contain 'Men' or 'Women', for example.
You can read more about dynamic panels here: http://www.justinmind.com/support/int...
