Displaying webprototypes in device, similar to mobile and tablet prototypes.

Answered Jori Verbeek 8 years ago

Hi there,

is there an option to display webprototypes in a device? Similar to how mobile / tablet prototypes are shown (i.e. shown in a device when the prototype is displayed in a browser)? This would help to give an overall impression of the UI when presenting the prototypes.

Cheers

Hi Jori,

Yes - check out the Justinmind View on Device application, which is available for iOS and Android.

Thank you for your reply Danielle!

But what I meant is the following:

I want to make a prototype for web. But I do not want to show this in the browser, I want to show this displayed in a device thus a computer display / laptop (similar how android / iOS are displayed in a device as well).

So I want to display my prototype like it is displayed when an custom resolution is set, but then not on that big tablet, but on a computer monitor. Is that possible?

Hope this clarifies my question.

Hi Jori,

That's possible too. Go to Simulate -> Simulation settings and change the skin to be used when simulating.

Best,

Danielle
