Solved Splinbone 3 years ago

When I click on the JustInMind icon the big logo pops up and t looks like it is about to open everything but then that logo disappears and nothing happens. Please help me solve this issue because I need to use the app to finish my mockup.

Hello,

Thank you for your patience, could you try doing the following:

First make sure you have Mac OS X 10.11 or later. Or, if Windows, make sure your computer is 64bits.

Look up for ‘Justinmind.cfg’ file. You can find it in:

Windows: [Installation_folder_path]/app/

Mac: /Applications/Justinmind.app/Contents/Java/

Open the file and add the following lines right under “-Dprism.vsync=false”:

-Duser.country=US

-Duser.language=en

Save the file and lauch the app again.

Let me know if this works.

Thank you kindly,

-Chloe

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out. Could you attach your log files so then we may take a look?

You can find them by following this file path:

On Mac: [folder of the user]/justinmind/version/logs.log

On PC: (C://users/youruser/Justinmind[version]/logs.log)

There may also be a file called logs.log.1 in that folder. If it's also listed, please attach it as well.

Thank you kindly,

-Chloe

Hello,

Would you mind sending us some log files so we can try to figure out what could be the problem?

These are the files we would need:If you're using Mac:

- [folder of the user]/justinmind/version/logs.log

There may also be a file called logs.log.1 in that folder. If it's also listed, please attach it as well.

- Right click on the Justinmind app and select 'Show package contents'. Then send any .log file in this folder /Contents/Java/configuration

On PC:- C://users/youruser/Justinmind[version]/logs.log

- Any .log files you find inside this folder [path where you installed Justinmind]/app/configuration

Thank you,

-Chloe

Hi I'm also facing the same problem.

Trying to do this.

Windows: [Installation_folder_path]/app/

Mac: /Applications/Justinmind.app/Contents/Java/

Open the file and add the following lines right under “-Dprism.vsync=false”:

-Duser.country=US

-Duser.language=en

Save the file and lauch the app again.

But how do i open the cfg file to edit it? Thanks!

Is it because Im running on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5? I have to run on this OS because I have app related work to be done on this OS. Can JustInMind still run on this OS?

Hello,

Thank you for attaching your log file. I believe the problem you are running into is you are opening the DMG file and, instead of dragging the App to the Application folder, you're doulbe clicking on it inside the DMG instead.

unknown

Try dragging the Justinmind application into the Application folder, click into the Application folder and then run it from there. Let me know if this works.

Thank you kindly,

-Chloe

Can you follow these steps please?

- Open Finder

- Go to Applications

- Double click on the Justinmind app

- After it tries to launch, then send us these log files:

/users/youruser/justinmind/version/logs.log

Open Finder, go to Applications, Right click on the Justinmind app and select 'Show package contents'. Then send any .log file in this folder /Contents/Java/configuration

That is very strange. Could you make a screen recording (you can do it with QuickTime) of you opening the Applications folder and launching the Justinmind app?

Hi Hubert,

We're sorry it took us so long to realize the source of the issue. We were focused in looking for potential bugs in the code and we forgot to ask the most basic questions. The thing is that Justinmind is only compatible with macOS 10.11 and newer versions. I think you have 10.10. That's why is not launching. If you ever update your OS, you will be able to launch the product.

Hello,

Are you using a 32 bits or a 64 bits computer? Justinmind only works with 64 bits.

Hi Victor,
