Yes, you can. You can import a .csv file into a data master. Unfortunately you won't be able to actively change that document and have it also change within Justinmind - you'll need to import it again.
You can also link to an image that's stored in another application like Photoshop, and you will be able to make active changes to that image, and those changes will be reflected in Justinmind.
