Android KitKat Radio buttons ... Grouping doesn't turn into a set?

Answered Victor Conesa 9 years ago

Im creating a prototype with the Android KitKat controls in v6.0

I added 3 buttons and then selected them (and nothing else) and created a group from them.

I was expecting ...... that these would then act like a set of radio buttons i.e. select one = set any others to 'de-selected' and therefore only allow a single select at a time.

What actually happens ....... is you can select any number of them and though they toggle to the alternative 'selected' state, selecting one doesn't impact on any others

I understand that I can re-create the 'radio button' effect by setting the interaction on each button to de-select the rest if selected but this is A LOT of work and the web version is too small on an Android device .............?

Hello,

I have the same problem now. Could you solve it in an easy way? Or is the only solution to implement it "by foot"?

Hi Vanessa,

Unfortunately some "Radio buttons" are still not working properly. However, it is already on our development backlog for future implementation. We will make sure to let you know when an update includes that function.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Best,

Sonia Durán
