Classroom Licence- URGENT: Problem registering users in a csv file

Known CARLOS O. 2 years ago

I upload the student file in .csv format, with 44 rows but there are 16 rows that the student data is not uploaded correctly.

Also it does not work to upload the data of these rows individually. It puts the email address in the name field and does not generate the link "resend invitation email".

I have loaded the data on numerous occasions from a csv file or individually and every time that data loads incorrectly, for reasons I obviously do not know.

Hello Carlos,

this problem is originated by the users who are already active. It does not generate the link "resend invitation email" since the user is already registered. If you want to change the name of those users, you should log in with each one and change it from that profile. This would solve the export problem.

let me know if the information was useful.

Greetings.

Hi Ria,

It seems that the problem lies in the fact that some students have installed JustinMind with the free version before receiving the link to register the account in the classroom account.

It seems that until the free version expires, I cannot upload their personal data correctly and register them in the classroom account. It seems, because I am not sure. I have tried to register them, but it is done incorrectly as I have written above (email instead of the name and without generating the link that makes it possible to send the message to activate after receiving it, the teaching or classroom account.

I will wait for the free versions they have active to expire.

Thank you very much for your cooperation and help.

Carlos,

Students can sign out on Justinmind desktop and sign in again but select the classroom account.

Let me know how it goes.

Ria, Even if these students are not listed as users in the class account?, because I have deleted the wrongly registered students or or should they be listed as users, even if incorrectly?

Hi Carlos, you will need to add them again to have access to that account, even if they are listed with the 'wrong' information.

Hi Ria:

The problem remains.

Numerous students (21) are told that their account will expire in the next few days. The class/teaching account expires in January 2022. So they do not have access to the teaching account, but to a trial account.

They have been logged out of the account. They have uninstalled the free copy, but do not log into the classroom/teaching account and go into loop.

If there is anything you could do or tell me how to solve the problem I would be very grateful.

If not possible, I understand.

Thank you very much for your attention and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Carlos,

Please check if the student who is trying to access your account appears in the usernote (sign in in usernote with your account and check if the account of the student who wants to access appears in Usernote-> Users -> User management. If it does not come out, try adding it manually and individually (Create new user). When it comes out correctly, try with the student's account, start Justinmind and sign in with the student's email, it should let choose the correct account (the student's email must match the email you entered in create new user). If Justinmind opens directly without getting the sign in option, try to sign out first ( from Justinmind! no usernote).

Let me know how it goes.

Ria.
