Is there a fast way to set the background color for multiple screens at once?

Answered seb lt 8 years ago

I like to have all my screen backgrounds black, so that when I simulate, the focus is on the prototype. My typical workflow is to import a bunch of image files as screens. So I have many screens (typically between 50 and 100) to deal with, but the default background color is not black.

It really pains to have to set the background color to black 50+ times.

Help!

Hello Seb,

At this time, the only way to do so is by changing the background property for each individual screen. However, we will be sure to consider this suggestion for future implementation.

Thanks for considering it. In that case, why not expand that idea, and enable the selection of multiple screens, so that you can edit common attributes in one simple step. Something like this:

1) Select multiple (or all) screens

2) Change common attribute (e.g. background color)

3) Done

This would help me out too. Possibly make a global setting where you can set a default background color for all new (and current) pages.

Hi all,

Unfortunately there isn't any option to directly do this. As a workaround you could use templates. Also I'm happy to inform you that your suggestion has been reported to our development team.

Hi Sonia...

Just saw your comment but its dated 2 year ago....

Is there any progress on this.... if so, what are the steps to achieve this task.

Unfortunately no we have not updated this. As Sonia mentioned before, you can use a template as a workaround.
