Show/hide a button depending on other buttons are shown/hidden

Answered Dolores 3 years ago

Hello,

Here is what i'm trying to do:

I have a test screen with some OK and KO images (green and red ticks and cross) which are hidden or showed depending on keyboard conditions (in real test they will depend on QR and NFC code readers) and some "issue" buttons (the grey ones). Also, every issue button can be cleared (blue text next the button) if the issue is solved before the test finish.

If any of the issue buttons is selected (and no cleared) or any of the KO images are shown, the screen must show the "Re-do" button (the black one).

The problem is, I only want the "Re-do" button appears when a clear button is shown or a KO image is shown, and only hide when no one clear button and no one KO image is shown.

It this possible? I've seen several tutorials but they never condition to hide/show depending on other buttons hide/show or active/inactive.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, it is possible to add conditions to hide/show certain buttons depending on other buttons. There is a checkbox in the properties panel that can hide the button of your choosing and then you can use the Events panel to have the hidden button show again. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello Chloe,

The event panel solve the problem. This post explains the issue: https://www.justinmind.com/community/topic/hide_show_on_button_click_depending_on_status_of_visibility

Thanks :)
