Cannot Edit Group Prototype

In Progress Cspower2393 4 years ago

Hello,

I am using the school Enterprise Trial edition (which is still active), and I cannot edit a shared group prototype. I am able to open the wireframe, however I cannot pull up any widgets, save the file, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

It looks like you've been added as a Developer instead of a User. Developers can only access a read-only view of a prototype. To fix this, tell the account owner to sign in to their online Justinmind account, go to the 'Collaborators' tab, then the 'Developers' sub-tab. Then, hover over the 'Actions' text for you, and click 'Make this developer a user'. You should then be added as a user.

You'll then need to be added as a user to edit the shared group prototype. Have the owner of the shared prototype go into the Justinmind app and open the shared prototype. Then in the Teamwork menu, click 'Add/Remove users', and add you as a user to edit the prototype. You should then be able to open and edit the shared prototype.

Hello,

I have been changed to user, however I am still not able to edit. I have attached a screen shot of my interface for reference.

Try signing out of Justinmind and try signing in again.

I signed out a few times and signed back in but nothing. I noticed however when I choose my enterprise trial, there is only the option to open a prototype or open a shared prototype. I also have the option to choose the free edition (which allows me to create new prototypes, although does not allow the option to open a group prototype).

We still see you added as a developer, not as a user yet.

It is under a different account. My school account which is csp4543@uncw.edu

That one is not added as a user either. If the account owner goes to their Developers sub-tab under Collaborators in their online account, they will see you are a still a developer and are not listed in the users section.

Would this be on a browser or within JustinMind?

Okay we will try that. Thank you

I am added as a user but still do not have access to edit. Under my free acount I would still be able to wouldn't I?

Where do you see that you are added as a user? For your University trial account, you are still a developer.

Under my groupmates account, it says I am a user. And she just sent me a screencap and I am not listed under developer.

We see that - but your groupmate's account is not your University's trial account. Contact the account owner sib****@uncw.edu and tell them to sign in to their online Justinmind account, go to the 'Collaborators' tab, then the 'Developers' sub-tab. Then, hover over the 'Actions' text for you, and click 'Make this developer a user'.
