To create a fixed header:

1) Select the element on the Canvas that you would like to be fixed.

2) Look to the Properties palette and find the Position section. Then, tick the 'Display Pin Position' box.

3) Look to the 'Y' parameter and from the dropdown, choose 'pin to top'.

That's it! You can also pin an element along the X axis by clicking on the 'X' parameter dropdown.

Hi Leonardo,

Is this the tutorial you were following http://www.justinmind.com/support/fix... ?

What is it exactly that you are not getting to work?

Best,

Marc

Hi -

Could you please share the secrets for how to make this work? I've studied the example file up and down many times and have modeled my file to do the same, but my footer element continues to scroll along with the dynamic panel I've set up.

Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom,

The key is using pin position options in the properties palette. Once you select an element you would like to be pinned or fixed at one part of the screen, look to the properties panel and under the position section, click 'display pin position options'. There, choose the 'x' parameter to pin the element somewhere horizontally on the screen, and the 'y' parameter to pin the element somewhere vertically on the screen. Check out the basic prototype I have attached for an example.

Best,

Danielle
