A way to easily create multi-point lines

Completed Michael Vieira 6 years ago

I was trying to create a line graph from scratch (I didn't like any of the offerings from the widgets), and I noticed it is extremely difficult to create a multipoint line with different angles. Getting the points (end of line1 linked to start of line2) to link and the sizes to be similar lengths was a big hassle.

Not sure if a tool like this is easy or possible, or if there is any crrent work around for something like this.

Thanks!

Mike

Dear Michael,

At the following link, you will find some UI Kits. The charts gallery might work for you.

I looked through and none have the functionality. The chart gallery has some examples with line graphs, however they are all single lines with different angles all individually pieced together. When you try to select just the lines and move or resize them it all goes crazy.

Hi Michael,

Unfortunately they're not intended to work dinamically. An workaround would be using a design tool to create the chart and then insert the element at your prototype.

I figured, that was why I created an `Idea' to have the chance to get it enhanced.

Sure. I will transfer your suggestion to our development team :)

Hi, I would also like to connect objects dynamically with lines. Can you please make this happen? Thank you.
