Filtering data list produces scrollbar

Known Julia Brummer 6 years ago

Hello!

I have a data list which contains records with different types. If I filter the list with setValue and the filter function (to get only records of a specific type) I get a scrollbar in one of the columns, as you can see in the screenshot. I already tried to resize the column but is doesnt help. If I remove the filter everything is fine.

Do you have any idea how to avoid this problem?

Thank you very much!

Dear Julia,

Can you make sure that you are trying to resize the "input text field" instead of the "column" by selecting correctly the "input" element instead of the "column"? (I reccomend you to have a look at the outline tab when selecting.)

Dear Sonia,

thank you for your help!

I also tried to resize the text field so in the simulation you can see that the values have enough space, but it doesn't help. It's quite strange that the problem only occurs if I filter the list. If I delete this event, the scrollbar isn't here anymore, although I use the same data and don't change the layout of the data list.

Dear Julia,

To better assist you, we would need an example so we can see what might be happening. You can attach your example here in .rar extension.
