Can't animate two dynamic panels simultaneously.

Solved Victor Conesa 8 years ago

The addition of simultaneous events was amazing. However, I still run into problems trying to animate two dynamic panels at the same time. I'll set one dynamic panel to slide left, for example, and the other to fade. What ends up happening is that only one animation takes place and the other panel disappears. I end up having to animate one first, and then the other afterwards like the days before simultaneous events were added.

Note: These are two totally separate dynamic panels and not part of the same panel.

Definitely looks like a bug.

But it depends on the transition effect.

it works fine if both panels are using a slide transitions.

Hi Bart,

I'm trying to reproduce the problem...Is this happening with 'Set active panel' action?

Yes, it's when I try to use multiple "Set Active Panel" events at the same time.

Hi Bart,

Sorry for our late response. We haven't been able to reproduce the problem.

Could you tell us which browser you are using? Is this happening with all

browsers?

Best,

Sonia

I have the same problem. I try to fade one panel in while fading another one out and what happens is that the panel that comes first in the events just turns blank (white). It looks like a visual bug because I can still see hovers of elements in the panel but not the elements themselves. It's happening in Chrome for me.

Hi Sharovipteryx,

Can you send me a snippet so we can test the exact issue you are describing and see what might be happening?

Hi Sonia,

What is a snippet and how do I send it to you :)? I have a bunch of events in my animation. Do you want the HTML file or something else?

Thanks for the help.

Hi there,

A snippet is a Justinmind example that just shows and contains what you are describing. An html file would not help as I won't be able to see the elements used at prototyper and test it. You can attach the example as a .rar here.

Hi Sonia,

OK I've reproduced it in the zipped file.
