new folder appeared after updating Justinmind on my Mac

Answered Rem Rob Fazio 6 years ago

I recently updated Justinmind from 7.2.2 to the latest and I noticed that a new folder called Justinmind/7.2.2/ has been created under my home and it contains bunch of backups, logs, etc. I wonder what is this folder for? can it be safely deleted?

OS: MacOs

Thanks,

Hi there,

That folder contains files that store your prototype backups, logs, and general prototype info from version 7.2.2. You should not delete it.

Hi Danielle,

Thank you for the reply. One more question. Since I didn't have any prototypes at the time of the upgrade and I also made my own backup. Can I just move the folder to a different path. I just don't like having stuff directly under home folder.

Hi there,

Yes, that should be fine - you can move the folder.

Hi Danielle,

Moving the folder broke the application. It also recreated it.

anyhow, I put it back.
