Yes, we support Windows 10. For further investigation we will need the following information:


1. Is this happening after a fresh download/installing? Or after an update?


2. May I ask if you could attach your log files so we can analyse them? You can find the logs by going to:


On PC: C://users/youruser/Justinmind[version]/logs.log

On Mac: [folder of the user]/justinmind/version/logs.log

Does it not support 64bit windows?

Yes, 64bit Windows is supported. Unfortunately the log files do not provide any information.


For further investigation, we will need you to describe the exactly actions you are doing when you experience the crash.


Does this occur after or before the log in screen is displayed?


Do you see the loading Justinmind logo before the crash?


Which Justinmind version are you using?

Version 7.8 current.


After install I get the logo and then the sign in screen. I enter my credentials and then I have had the following errors:

  • sometimes it crashes after I press return at sign on and I dont get an error message
  • sometimes it crashes as soon as the window appears at the back after signon.
  • sometimes it crashes after I select beginner

After this when I open JIM it always crashes with an error.


When I get an error it says something has caused the program to stop working correctly.

Old logs refers to previous installation attached further up the thread. Current installation logs attached.

Hi Ali,


Are you using Windows Vista? The logs provided are showing the use of Windows Vista (not supported by Justinmind). Can you please confirm wich OS version are you using?

It was running on Windows 10 64 bit. I tried several compatibility modes including Vista mentioned in the logs.


I have uninstalled and re-installed another time and ran under windows 10 64 bit (not compatibility mode). New logs attached

Hi Ali,

It seems you are using some special screen settings. If possible, can you try to restore them (landscape instead of portrait or any other settings). Also, have you updated to our last version?
