Images on JIM site/emails blurry - Branding Section

In Progress Michael 7 years ago

Hello,

We are working on our site (JIM site to manager projects and users) and it seems regardless of the image size we upload, the images look a little blurry. We got the logo on the top left of the site looking okay, but it's still very fuzzy on retina displays. It looks like JIM uses the same image to send out to emails, but appears enlarged and blurry, even if the original image uploaded has a high resolution.

Is there anything we can do to fix this? Thanks for your help!

Hi Michael,

We worked on fixing this last week. Are you still experiencing this issue?

Hi Danielle,

I just tried this again and it looks the same - although we haven't updated to 7.7 as a team yet, and that's supposed to happen later today. Is this dependent on that update?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Michael,

Are those with high resolution displays using the high resolution installer in Justinmind? They can find it by following this file path on their computers:

C:Program Files (x86)JustinmindJustinmind Prototyper 7.5.0JustinmindPrototyperHiDPI.exe

Hi Danielle,

We just updated to 7.7 and everything is working well - it looks like we have the same issue with the icons being fuzzy. Everything in the actual JIM UI looks great. Here are the two instances with images attached:

1) On an email when a prototype review is sent, the logo for our company looks really blurry (in the red area).

2) On our JIM server's website, the company logo looks pretty good except is a bit blurry on retina displays.

I think both of these are controlled by the "branding" section in the Admin preferences.

Thanks!

Hi Michael,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you! I'm unable to open the first attached image - could you try reattaching it?

We're looking into this and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Hi Danielle,

I reattached the images here - the areas where the logos appear blurry are the red boxes.

Thanks!

Hi Michael,

We have looked into this, and unfortunately there is no way to make those images not blurry right now. However, we are working on fixing this, and I will let you know when we implement the solution.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Best,

Danielle
