Cursor set to selection, strangely (Mac)

Solved Victor Conesa 9 years ago

In mac, everytime I change from the browser (usernote) to justinmind, the pointer is set to selection instead of normal cursor what provokes the program to select whatever is on the screen and get stopped for an instant.

Hi,

could you let us know which Prototyper version you are using and which OS (and version) you are using? Also, could you let us know in which cases this happens (if all or only in specific cases).

We will try and reproduce your error in our computers and figure out a way to solve it.

Best,

Marc

Hi Marc,

Justinmind Prototyper Pro Edition

Version (Ver. 5.6.1)

OSX Version 10.9.2

Processor 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

It happens everytime I'm back from another application.

I think it is something related to getting focus on the application. It happens also to another colleague who works in mac as well.

The problem is that it selects things and moves them around and I have to undo. Sometimes I don't know exactly how many undos do I have to do and I may lose things.

Thanks!

Hi Nunile,

We are trying to replicate this in our computers. Could you let me know if it happens always or only in specific cases (for example, when you are working with different desktops, or when you go back to Prototyper using the mouse, or using cmd+TAB, etc...)

Best,

Marc

Same problem. It's been two years and no bug fix. I also posted about this issue 5 months ago https://www.justinmind.com/community/topic/application-switching-issues-with-automatic-engagement-of-selection-lasso It's like the developers don't care.
