Full width background + centering doesn't work on left side only

I have a background and header that I am trying to show a full width background. I have the option for center checked off and have added an event to resize on page load via calculated screen width. When doing so and simulating its full width on the right but doesn't do anything on the left.

On my canvas the design starts at 0,0 and it seems as though its just starting from this point but not showing left.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem " full width on the right but doesn't do anything on the left" Did you find the solution?
