Side menu not activating properly on different screens

Hi all ,

I've just started using just in mind to prototype a mobile app, I am beginning to design.

I've found it quite good compared to the other software's I've used, although a little more complicated , it's nice to see it will be able to do mostly anything I have in mind.

I've just started the prototype and thus have been trying to work out a template/master that I can use as the basis of my other app pages. I would quite like a functional side menu and thus have combined the side menu widget and the empty screen iOS widgets together into a template and a master slide to use as the basis of my new screens. While the side menu functions perfectly when I simulate the template or master screens, when I use the template or master on a an actual screen I am unable to click the menu icon. It lights up in blue but just doesn't do anything? I'm sure I'm jsut missing something silly but unsure what that is or could be? I've tried to bring menu icon forward on the screens but it hasn't really done anything.

Any help is greatly appreciated !
