Difficulty with 'Has' condition

Answered Victor Conesa 7 years ago

I am new to Just In Mind, and I am currently experiencing some difficulty understanding and using the 'Has' condition. I have created a variable to which I can add or subtract values from a data list. I am trying to create my app prototype such that, when the page loads, if my variable contains, 'current_row_1.value', the Add option isn't displayed, and only the remove option is available. I assumed that using the condition, 'When [Variable (has) Current_row_1]’ would do this for me, but it hasn't worked. Could you please guide me on how to properly use the has condition, so that the options available to the user are dependent on what data the variable currently contains? Thanks.

p.s. If what I’ve written doesn’t make sense, please let me know and I can provide a video clearly displaying my problem.

Hi Nathan,

Perhaps using the '=' comparator instead of 'has' would fix the issue. Let me know how changing that works for you.

Best,

Danielle
