Can you add the possibility to have floating elements? (like floating sharebar)

The sharebar is always at the same position even if we scroll, it should be cool if we could do the same, checking a "floatting" property field for example.

We are in our way to do it. Meanwhile there is a trick you can use. You can place all your content inside a dynamic panel with scroll and place the 'floating' element above it.

Version 5.5 includes the 'always on top' property for any widget.

I don't really understand this?

How do you make sure the Status Bar reminds static - while the elements below it are scrollable.

Setting the 'Status Bar' to 'Always on top' isn't working for me...

Go to this other topic: https://www.justinmind.com/community...

A widget that uses 'Always on top' option will basically be placed on top of all the widgets. However, if you put it inside a dynamic panel that has 'Vertical and Horizontal Scroll' properties set to 'Always Visible', then it will also be scrolled.

The problem I have is that I have a footer that has a fixed position at the bottom of my screen. According to the size of the screen of, say, the smartphone, it shows or not, but doesn't adapt itself to stick to the bottom. It would be nice to be able to assign x to window.height - 70 for example, or be able to include some simple DOM-like commands.

Any other solution to offer to have a floating footer (position: fixed)?

You can still do the steps above (using dynamic panel) and do this.

If the problem is the size of your smartphone screen, what you can do is create two screens, say, one for iPhone 4s (320 x 480) and one for iPhone 5 (320 x 568) and make your prototype responsive. If window height is 480, then go to iPhone 4s screen, otherwise go to iPhone 5 screen.

Here are some tutorials for making responsive/adaptive prototype:

Hi,

Is it possible you could put an example of the above scenario working, I can't get it to work. And I don't want the Scroll bars to always be displayed on the Dyanmic panel.

Thanks

Fran

Check the below URL out, the feedback tab always remains in the same place no matter how much you scroll up and down, this is what I want to do.

I really need the ability to create a fixed element that doesn't require interaction with an on-screen scroll bar. It is the one missing feature that has me considering other prototyping tools. "Fixed" or "floating" elements are so critical to any app or web experience (because they are always on-screen and therefore always a part of the UI) that it is a significant defect for Justinmind to not support this. I really want to continue using Justinmind, but this will be the deciding factor when my subscription comes up for renewal.

Thanks for your consideration.

Great work, Justinmind, on integrating fixed element emulation!
