When I import data into my data master Justinmind crashes

I created a data master with too much data in it (1700 rows x 30 columns). It works but is very slow.

I want to remove much of the data but every time I try to import into the data master I get a beach ball that never goes away. I've waited hours before and the beach ball is gone until I click on the screen again when it reappears.

I've tried different steps such as replacing the data or deleting all the data first then both replacing and updating.

Occasionally I'll get a dialog that says "An unexpected error has occurred. We apologize for the inconvenience, we will try to fix this error on the next update. Thank you for your patience."

Is there any way I can fix this without rebuilding the data master and redoing all of my elements that refer to it?

Just so I fully understand what you need. You really need all those 1700 rows? Or you can import less?

Correct. I want to import a smaller number of rows to increase performance.

So, if you delete all the rows in the data master and you import less rows, does the error still happen?

I either get that error occasionally or the system just hangs.

How many rows are you importing now?

I'd like to use approx 300 but have tries to import a single row with the same results.

Can we have a look at your prototype? Can you send it to jim.support at justinmind.com please?

I found the problem, Justinmind doesn't like comma separated data even if it's set for comma separated import. I found a string for another software on getsatisfaction here:

After following these instructions and setting my excel to export ";" separated lists my import worked fine.
