Using check boxes to narrow down results. How do I make this interaction? Do I need several results pages?

I need help with some interactions. I don't know how to set up my pages. Basically, I want the user to check up to 10 options by clicking check boxes. Then the user can select a button to narrow down the results.

Do I have to create hundreds of pages to illustrate the "next" page the person has filtered down the results to? And what about going back? If I want the person to go back to the main "check these boxes to narrow results" page, do I have to link that from several pages? I just don't understand how to work check boxes into my prototype.

Could someone please help me with these basic functions? I am very new to building prototypes in this program. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi Jennifer,

Look this example and tell me if it is more or less what you are looking for. You will see that depens on the checkboxes you select, the elements of the second screen change.

Yes I want to select 2 or more check boxes then hit another entry button to "go" to the next screen. Like on your page hit "continue."

I want the results to show that multiple boxes have been selected, this providing more info, and not just one box.

On your example, say I select both "basic banking" and "reporting." When I click continue, I want the next screen to show that both of those were selected and a new screen reflecting that. I hope it makes sense. Thanks for your help.

On my example, the items that you select in Step 2, shows differents boxes in the second screen.
