Turn off a tree node change/style action when another tree node is selected

Mike Carlisle shared this question 5 years ago

I need to find a way so that a change/style highlight ( blue text /light blue background) for a specific tree node reverts back to its default text and background color when a different tree node is selected.

I've tried several combinations of simply adding an additional mouse click event to the new node selection such that the other nodes have a change/style event reverting themselves to their default colors, but nothing seems to work. I've tried deliberately setting focus on the previous selections and then reverting back their colors before setting focus back on the new selection, but again with no luck.

My typical results show both tree nodes (previously selected and currently selected) both showing the same blue color changes when only the new/currently selected should be showing that preference. Help!

It should work using the actions you are currently using to revert the style. Please can you send us your prototype to jim.support@justinmind.com so we can figure out what's wrong?
