I want to run an app demo for a client on the iPad. Purchased tap labor, as instructed. It fails to find any files, on multiple Dropbox accounts I have tried. Even though I see the folders and files. Any ideas? Purchased prototypes pro and tap labor ..feel like I wasted time and money...

I've talked to the creators of Taplabor and they gave me this support email address appsupport at sic-software.com

The best is you send them an email telling them what are the problems you are having with their software.

I purchased the app just to be able to try the iPad demo files (.vp files) and the same thing happened to me. It can't find the prototypes.

I have placed the .vp files (which are the prototypes) in my DropBox folders.

Is there any other iPad app that can load/run/play .vp files?

You don't have to put the vp file but the prototype exported to html files

Hello,

I currently don't own Justinmind yet. All I was trying to do was to view the iPad app demo file on my iPad as the text below suggests:

http://justinmind.com/prototyper/exam...

iPad App

A huge and stunning prototype of an ipad application. It's even better if you view it using a real ipad. It uses data grids and highly complex interactions.

So I downloaded the .vp files for this demo and put it in DropBox and then ran the Tapalabor app and linked it to my DropBox account and it could not find any prototypes.

Can you explain how I can view the demo on the iPad?

Thanks :)

Taplabor works with HTML files. A vp file is not HTML. So you need to open the .vp file with Prototyper first. Then select file -> Export to HTML and copy the resulting folder in your Dropbox account. Then you will be able to open it with Taplabor.

I exported my prototype to HTML, installed Dropbox on my laptop, transferred the folder with HTML stuff to Dropbox, bought Taplabor, pulled the prototype into Taplabor, but it sure does not work.
