Slow performance on Mac OS X Powerbook

Roger Gilliar shared this problem 7 years ago
Solved

The whole application is very slow on my Powerbook Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz (6GB Ram). The past operation for an image can take up to 10 seconds (top showing a cpu usage of nearly 100%). Opening a context menu menu takes a couple of seconds and so on.

Any ideas how to improve the responsiveness of JustInMind ?

Regards

Roger

You will have to wait till June 27th when we will launch the 4.3 version (we finally made Prototyper work fast in Mac). It would help us a lot if we could send to you a pre-release installer to try if we actually solve the problem. Would you mind to send your email address to jim dot development at justinmind dot com?

Same issue with slowness especially with pasting except I have a MacBook Pro with 4GB RAM. So slow...

We know, it was a terrible memory leak. We have been doing tests on the new 4.3 version that we'll launch on June 27th and we believe it's fixed now. We apologize for all the inconveniences we caused you.

Hi guys,

You can download a pre-release beta version from here http://justinmind.s3.amazonaws.com/Ju... . We would love to hear from you if the performance issue is resolved. Be careful because the new drag and drop features are not included in the HTML generation and the prototypes made with this installation won't work in Usernote until June 27th

So far so good. Haven't tried anything complex with 4.3 but it seems more responsive.

Thanks!
