Simple Character Check For Inline Validation

I'm just trying to make a simple inline validation for a form field and have been running into some issues creating it.

I have an input box, but if I enter a character that is forbidden (anything that isn't a number, comma, or period), I would like to make the text box red.

I've tried creating a logic that that: IF value of [inputbox] HAS Uppercase OR Lowercase THEN change style to a red border. But it doesn't seem to be working for me.

Any help is appreciated.

I'd like to do this too but mine is a password check that must have uppercase AND lowercase AND numbers AND symbols. I'm struggling a bit as well. Any help would be appreciative.

Hi there,

For the symbols, perhaps you could create a condition HAS '$' or '&' or '*'.... all possible symbols? See if that helps.

Best,
