Hi

What is the correct syntax for setting (prepopulating) the date picker in iOS7? It seems to be different from a desktop simulation (MM/DD/YYYY)

Thanks

Hi Christopher,

When you drag a date widget to the canvas you can double click it to edit the default date or go to the properties panel and click on the calendar icon. Both will show a date picker and write the correct format for you. The format used is MM/DD/YYYY

Does this answer your question?

Hi Marc,

Thanks for attempting to answer my question. I should have clarified I am setting the date picker using variables, such that on page load the picker specifies a calculated date. I can do this fine using the MM/DD/YYYY syntax, but this isn't compatible with iOS7 (IIRC iOS6 was MM-DD-YYYY) using an iPhone 5.

Thanks

Hi Christopher,

The format to be used when setting dates using event for iOS is YYYY-MM-DD. Bare in mind that when simulating on your browser you will have to use the MM/DD/YYYY format.

Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Ah, ok thanks. I think that's the one permutation I didn't try. Will save a copy for desktop and one for iOS
