Mouseover event triggers while image is hidden.

I have an image hidden by default, and when it shows an event is triggered on mouseover. When I hide this image after showing it once, the mouseover event continues to run as if the image were still being shown.

Note that when the simulation is initially run with the image hidden on startup the event is not triggered on mouseover until the image has been shown once at some point.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Wade,

could you share with us some screenshots of how you have made the events?

Thanks.

Hmm, well I recreated what I was trying to do a different way and got rid of the problematic events I was using.

I tried loading my oldest backup and that didn't have it either unfortunately.

Next, I tried recreating the problem again from scratch and everything seems to be working now the old way so I'm pretty confused. I guess it was either a logic error on my part with the events that I failed to notice or a bug that only shows up by a more complex means.

I was messing around with a lot before the problem occurred whereas I just recreated what I was previously doing in a new prototype immediately.

Oh well, I'll let you know if something like this happens to me again and I'll be sure to take screenshots of the events.

Thanks for the quick response.

This isn't identical to what was happening before, but it's very similar and just as problematic.

I've uploaded a short video to show you what my problem is. If you need further information let me know.

Hi Wade,

I think I'm missing something. Why do you save the text value into a variable instead of giving directly to the label or rich text? How do you load the text into the dynamic panel?

If you don't mind, could you send me your prototype at jim.support@justinmind.com?

Best regards.

I had to try to recreate this issue again because I got around it. The fact that the text was showing up in the white space at all was my error, but the fact that it didn't display when mousing over all of the white area is part of at least one bug.

I went into more detail explaining what is going on in another video and I've emailed you the prototype shown in this second video.

Also, one other thing that is a much simpler fix that I noticed was the tooltip for the "Previous Screen" and "Next Screen" buttons have the hotkeys displayed backwards. (These are the blue arrows next to the green simulate button.)
