Modify multiple rows in one step (reload old data if canceled)

Solved

Hi,

in my prototype I have a data grid filled with data from master data. With an edit button two columns of the data grid will be opend for editing data directly in the grid. For every editable column I added a column in the master data to save the old values if they have been changed. The old values are stored on the first onChange event by executing modify. This all works fine for every row and column. I tested by displaying the result in an input field.

But I am not able to restore the old values when clicking on the cancel button. The cancel button should copy the temporary stored old values back into the original columns, but I didn't find any way. Either nothing happens or all data from the whole column is stored back to original column.

I hope somebody has a solution for my problem.

Best regards

Andreas

That sounds complicated. May I have a look at the .vp file? Could you send it to jim dot support at justinmind dot com please?

Works in the HTML but the simulation engine inside Prototyper has a bug.

Hi Victor,

thank you very much for the feedback, Now I have finished this part of my prototype and in HTML it works fine. I look forward for the bug fixing of the simulation engine.

This error has been fixed for the next version 4.5. We plan to have that version available on the end of January 2012
