Link Comments to any major forum system

I read that there's a SaaS version of JIM scheduled for 2012. Especially if so, but even if not, it would be nice to be able to use vBulletin or other major forum system for Comments and Discussion on prototypes.

To make it more concrete, each screen and each object would have numeric identifiers. Forum type and URL would be settings in JIM. Publish to Usernote would work the same, but the Comment button would link to the forum/sub-forum for that object.

Most forum systems have voting, tagging, locking threads, etc. which seem very relevant.

Eventually, it could be made to interface with one of the Atlassian products, maybe JIRA, etc, and certain voting, etc. would create tasks in a coder's task list.

You can use the option 'create test' for that. Just push the 'create test' button and select 'no javascript'. That way you will have a 'public prototype' and the links would work from any tool like the atlassian ones.

Ok, sorry, it seems that last sentence was a distraction. The main idea was to try to get comments to flow outbound from JIM to a forum. But being able to direct from JIRA to a prototype could be interesting, too.

So, what do you think of the main idea?
