link objects actions in different screens // tutorial from A to Z

Solved

Hi!

when moving/resizing a widge in a screen can the new position be update in the next screens as well. I try in 2 ways setting a template and using a variable but I'm not able to do

I guess I could do everything in one screen, but in this way the prototype may become difficult to manage because for the same point of the screen I can not overlap two widgets with their own actions

Is there any tutorial/guide/course that takes me from 0 knowledge to deep one. The tutorials I found are way too simple and there is no link among the basic ones and the advanced ones, especially when talking about setting conditions, variables, data master

Hello Alessandra,

If you resize a widget that is a part of a template, the size change should reflect on all screens using the template after saving. However, as individual screens are not inherently linked to one another, this capability does not extend to traditional screens. As for the tutorial material, we only provide the information currently found at the location you describe. However, we are more than happy to help you accomplish any task you desire. You may either use this community portal or email us at jim.support@justinmind.com to post your queries.

Sincerely,

Hi Luisa!

Thanks for your support.

I haven't express my problem clearly.

My resize/moving of widget (part of template) happens during simulation, but in this case (during simulation) the changes are not reflected on other screens that share the same template, while I would like it to happen. So I guess I should change approach but can't figure out from where to start

Hello Alessandra,

In that case, I'm afraid such actions are not possible. You may use static values to resize a component, but can't dynamically alter the size during simulation. Additionally, moving the widget will only affect the current screen, as the coordinates of the component are already set to the original location on all other screens. As there is no way to move an element to a position not predefined in the event builder, a reset of the location can't be achieved.

Luisa
