Is there a way of setting a fixed background image. For example can I use a wallpaper image as a backgroound and have items on a page scroll over that

eg, in normal css code I would use something like:

body {

background-attachment:fixed;

}

Hi Alexie,

You can do it if you go to the template and add the image background that you want to see.

Here you can find more information.

I still cannot seem to locate the option.

A real life example would be if you visit http://sportsbikeshop.co.uk/

You can see when you scroll up and down the homepage the background image stays in position. I can't seem to find an option for this.

Put your image to the template. Now, create a dynamic panel with the width that you want and with the height that you need. Put all the contents inside. When you finish, click on this dynamic panel with the right button and select "exit edit content". Now, go to the properties of this dynamic panel, select the automatically option for the vertical scroll and fit the dynamic panel as the height as the background image.

here you can see a quick prototype example that I have made.

Thanks, That's Just what I'm looking for.

I must say I'm very impressed with this software and it's making my life a lot easier when prototyping my sites

How do you create a dynamic panel? I put my image in a new template; should I now right-click and choose "Group as dynamic panels"? Where do I define the height and width?

You can drag a dynamic panel to the canvas. Then, select it and go to the properties tab. Here you can define the height and width.

Hello Albert.

Can you re-upload the test?

The technique that you explain forces a demo of a fixed height and width.

In a future version perhaps you might add a background layer with "background-attachment: fixed", regardless of the width and height of the demo.

Hi,

here's a new example: https://www.justinmind.com/usernote/t...

On the other hand, we will try to improve the fixed background in a future update.

Best regards.
