iPhone 4 widget background image size

I'm having trouble with image sizes for backgrounds using the iPhone widgets. Iphone4 screen size should be 640x960, but it comes in too big for the screen widget. Any help on how to solve this?

You have to use 320x480. We found that Safari in iPhone scales the content so that the only way to fit the prototype into the iPhone screen is using 320x480. If you take a look at the first library here http://www.justinmind.com/extras (the iPhone one) you will see that all the widgets are scaled to that resolution.

I'm having the opposite problem. The widgets are indeed sized for 320x480, but when i export files and upload for testing, the screens are exactly half the size and i have to pinch/zoom to adjust.

When I take a screenshot on the iPHone and insert the image into my prototype, it is exactly twice the size (640x960) but renders perfectly on the web.

How do I handle this correctly?

Can you try this prototype and tell me if it's displayed half the size as well please?

That one appears to load up properly in my iPhone 4. Is it perhaps a setting in the export process? Or some way I'm building the prototype wrong??

Can I private message you the link to the live prototype?

The first screen has the right size. The other two are too big.

Are you viewing on an iPhone? On my iPhone 4 the first screen requires zooming in, while the others all fit to the screen.

Ok, I checked it again. You are right, the export HTML has the wrong scale parameter but Usernote has the right one. So if you publish your prototype to Usernote (select 'create test' to get rid of the left comments panel) you will see it correctly. The next update will have the export to HTML fixed.
